This Privacy Policy explains what information veedeeoh. ("veedeeoh," "we," "us") collects when you use the veedeeoh cloud service, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By creating an account you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up (with Google, or with an email and password), we receive your email address, and for Google your name and profile picture. If you use a password, it is stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider; we never see it.
Household & profiles. Profile names, avatars, and parental-control settings (kids designation, maturity limit, and PIN) that you create.
Usage data. Your "My List," watch history, and playback progress, stored per profile so your experience syncs across devices.
Billing data. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store your subscription status, plan, and a Stripe customer identifier. We do not store your card number or full payment details. Those are handled directly by Stripe.
Technical data. IP address, approximate region (used to show which content is available to you), device and browser type, and app preferences kept in your browser's local storage.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and sync the service (profiles, My List, Continue Watching) across your devices.
To operate parental controls and enforce per-profile maturity limits.
To process your subscription, seats, and billing, and to prevent fraud.
To secure accounts, debug issues, and communicate service and billing notices (e.g., trial ending, payment failures).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-site advertising.

3. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share the minimum necessary data with providers who help us run veedeeoh:

Supabase: authentication and database (your account, profiles, and usage data).
Stripe: payment processing and subscription management.
Vercel: application hosting and content delivery.
Google: only if you choose "Sign in with Google."

veedeeoh aggregates links to publicly available, free and ad-supported content from third-party sources (such as Pluto TV, Tubi, and the Internet Archive). Video plays directly between your device and those third parties' networks; their handling of your device data is governed by their own privacy policies.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember essential preferences (such as active profile, volume, and playback position). These are required for the service to function; we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data from our systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage your profiles and cancel your subscription from your account, and you may request data export or account deletion by contacting us at support@veedeeoh.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Children

veedeeoh is intended for adults. "Kids" profiles are created and controlled by the adult account holder, who is responsible for supervising their household's use. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use standard security measures, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and row-level access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of material breaches as required by law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
